Over the weekend we traveled to Denver, Colorado, to celebrate Michelle's 40th birthday (Marc's sister)!! The previous 4 times I've flown, it has been by myself, so it was nice to have an extra set of hands to keep track of Maree & all of the many baby things we have to travel with!
While the birthday celebration was our main reason for visiting, it quickly turned into a weekend of reuniting cousins! Madeline is now 15 months, and Maree is 10 months. I can already tell that we are all going to love watching these two grow up together :) Right now, their 5 month difference is quite a bit - Madeline has several teeth and can eat/try most all food, she's walking, and most importantly, she's fiercely protective of her toys!! Maree did try her best to keep up with Maddie by crawling everywhere after her, and sampling small portions of Madeline's food, but she's still too young to really mind having toys snatched away from her - this Christmas could be quite a different scene!!

We weren't able to get a professional photographer scheduled, so we attempted on our own. We've now tried this a few times.. and you think we would learn by now... that it is impossible to get them to look/smile at the same time!
