Family Visiting

The month of September was not only a travel month for us, but it was also a month that family came to visit us!  Marc's sister's family came for a few days and Maree was in absolute heaven getting to play with "Mademin" 

Madeline actually fell asleep.. Maree on the other hand, is pretending.

Grandpa Russ also came out and got to spend time with the girls!  They sure love their "papa"

Dance Class

A month ago, I started Maree in a dance class.  I really debated doing this because Maree sometimes is not the best listener… but I figured if she did terrible, I'd take her out.  Anyway, I had no idea how cute it would be to watch my little girl dance.. but oh my.. these tutus and tap shoes just melt my heart.  Maree listens well and can surprisingly do most of the things the teacher says… the only catch?  She can only do them with her right foot/leg.  Apparently she hasn't figured out how to use her left.

Managing a 16 month old for 45 minutes in this small studio has also proven to be quite the challenge.  She doesn't like ipads/videos.. so it's a game of wanting up.. then down… then repeat. OR, she just tries to bust into the class. 

Montana Trip

In the middle of September, Marc and I took our second vacation ever without the kids… and boy did we have fun!  We went to Montana to see Marc's best friend Jeff Weedin & his family.  They have the nicest/most well mannered kids - Olivia and Brady… and of course, I'm holding out hope that one day Brady will go for Maree.  

Some trip highlights - ping pong until 1a.m… going golfing.. a spa day.. lighting a menu on fire… and of course, going to the Montana State game!  Too bad it was too cold to really wear the cool shirts that they got us.  We had a blast and can't wait until we get to go back - I've never been to a more beautiful state.
