Waste Management Open

The end of January/beginning of February always marks a chaos time for us.  This year, the huge golf event that we always get visitors for, fell on the same week as the super bowl… which also happened to be here in AZ!  SO we had some company… and lots of fun!!

Date with Ellie

Not very often do I seem to take my girls out on individual "dates."  Of course, I feel guilt over this because I used to take Maree to classes when it was only her… I haven't gotten to do that with Ellie.  SO, I decided one morning to clear our schedule and I was going to take Ellie to 'Open Gym' at Gymboree.  Her little face lit up with excitement when she saw the place and she was so much more adventurous without Maree shoving her around/leading the way.  The slide/climbing tower were her favorites.  Days like this are two fun - getting to see the joy on Ellie's face was the best… until we had to leave and then it turned into a meltdown.
