Meeting Baby Evelyn

My very best friend Sara and her family made the trip to AZ for Thanksgiving too!  My girls, my dad and Matt hadn't met baby Evelyn… and she'd changed drastically since I'd seen her!  My girls were BEYOND thrilled to have someone littler than them in the house.  Of course, the words "Be gentle. Be careful. Not so hard…" came out of my mouth 100x. Now if only they lived closer!!!

The girls get free hair bows and clothes from Portia's Closet and in return I get to take fun pictures of them in them…. and sometimes this proves quite challenging. 

Always fun when Nana and Papa come… and even better when they make an amazing Thanksgiving day meal!

Thanksgiving

We decided to do a Thanksgiving tennis tournament… although it was pretty hard to play with Maree and Ellie running around like crazy.  We took time out to let them each try to hit a few balls.. and Maree looked like a tennis pro right off the bat - haha. They sure had fun trying though.

We didn't do an actual thanksgiving "meal" because Gayle had cooked one for us the night before.  This made it much easier on me because all I was in charge of was appetizers!

Montana Trip

One of our good friends, and best man in our wedding, Jeff Weedin, celebrated the big 40 and we went to help surprise him for his birthday!  Bozeman, MT, is always beautiful and we had a wonderful time with all of their friends.  It was a bit cold for my liking… but the day we spent outside they had me quite bundled up and I had multiple hand and foot warmers inside my gloves and boots!
