I love that when we ask you to blow kisses you won't actually use your hand to blow the kiss… you just make a kiss motion with your mouth
You would read a hundred books a day if you could find someone to just read to you non-stop. In the mornings when you girls wake up.. Maree immediately wants cartoons and juice… you forgo everything and head straight to your book stand and sit and flip through them.
It has been much easier to take you places than it was with Maree at the same age… if you get upset about something, I can always get you calmed down pretty fast.
You are a hoarder. You love to carry/collect as many of something as you can - stuffed animals are your favorite… but you seem to have a shoe fettish as well. My closet is a constant mess because you are always dragging my shoes out!
When you want something you refer to it as "yellow" -- I have no idea how this started… but all colors to you are yellow too. When we grocery shop and you see something you want, you just start crying/whinning "Ye-woooo"-- People always look at me like 'just give her something yellow.' If only it were that simple!
One night you had been asleep for 2 hours and woke up crying. I thought you needed your diaper changed because this was unusual behavior. I got you out of bed and realized it was a false alarm, but you saw your daddy and had to see him before I took you to back to bed. While you were giving him a hug, you stole the tv remote, and when you walked away from him you gave this 'machine gun' type laugh that we'd never heard you do… you were SO tickled with yourself. Since then I've managed to get it on camera a few times & it's so funny (see video below)
You know your daddy loves football, so when you see him you often yell out "Football! Touchdown! Yay!!" Regardless of whether or not football is even on - you just want to impress him & it is so cute!!
You also have taken a page from your sister's book because she is always trying to get you to follow her somewhere. Now, when you want something you say "Come on" with a whole hand gesture of 'come hither' rather than just a finger. You will also tell us to "Sit down" so we will play with you/read to you.
Your little run has just started to come into existence too. It is hilarious to watch b/c your little hips just sway making it look like you are a funny speed walker!
On the weekends, you LOVE to go get coffee with your dad. You must be really good there, because sometimes you stay there for an hour with him!! You love to eat your nuts and collect the sugar packets
As for words that you say, i could never write all of them down. You honestly talk so clearly… I really understand almost everything you say. If I had had you first, I would have known so much sooner that something was wrong with Maree's ear tubes when she was at this same age.
You have 4 teeth on top and only two on the bottom!!! I have been worrying about your bottom teeth b/c you haven't had any new teeth since 15 months… but I tipped you upside down the other day and noticed that you have molars that had come through up top!! How you are getting molars before your bottom teeth i don't know… I'm still hoping those come in soon!!!
Your hair is growing fast - It is totally different from your sister's hair and the texture is just like your daddy's hair. Sometimes it looks reddish blonde - especially if you're wearing pink. Sometimes it looks light brown, and sometimes it looks dark blonde. It is harder for me to do your hair because you don't want to sit still… it also lays in interesting ways because also like daddy, you have several cowlicks.
Miss Ellie, you are such a joy. Your sweet spirit does mama's heart so good… I love you SO much

I am not sure how I just saw this but oh my goodness is Ellie so SWEET! I loved reading all about her and what she is doing. I can't wait to see her and Jordynn together again. And I still just love that black/white outfit on her...such a model:)
