August

I'm so behind on posts that I'm lumping all of August together too.  It was a busy month with school starting and Nana and Papa visiting.. and of course playing too. 

Both girls have had some interesting sleep issues this month.  Twice, Maree has gotten up, come to my side of the bed, and decided to sleep right by me on the floor without me even knowing it.  In fact, I woke up one morning and went back to the girls' area, and saw Maree's door was open… and she wasn't in her bed.  I start panicking and look every where … and I can't find her anywhere… Finally, I rush back to my room to grab my phone to call Marc/call for help, only to almost step on her.  Some how I got out of bed without stepping on her to begin with… and didn't even see her there (I'm blind without contacts!)

Miss Ellie has also proven that she should never be allowed to wear a night gown to bed… b/c someone loves to take off her diaper.

We also got to have another play date with Marlie - her friend from school - she has the coolest toys and Maree always wants to go to her house

Summer wouldn't be complete without a little skinny dip… or apparently pretending you're a snowman in 110 degree heat.  Yes, my girls call coats "snowman" b/c we never have to wear them here.. and they only associate it with building a snowman in Frozen
