The Zoo!

In March we decided to take a zoo trip while cousin Madeline was still here - while it is a bit hard to navigate times to go see everything before nap time… we still had fun getting to go and see what we did see! The girls were pretty good for the most part - of course managing two kids while trying to be the only picture taker does prove to be a great deal of my stress at places like this!

We went to a 3D showing of the Ice Age Dinosaurs movie (8 minutes long) - Maree and Madeline love movies… this was a totally different experience though.  The seats vibrated, water would spray in your face, etc.  Madeline cried for the majority of it on her mom's lap.. and Ellie immediately jumped into my lap and buried her face in my neck and didn't move for the entire thing.  Maree… she sat on the edge of her seat intently watching the whole thing.  I assumed she was loving it… but when we left, she informed me that the movie was scary and she didn't like it. Guess 3D movies won't be in our future!

So we  a  carousel ride would make up for the scary movie  - it worked!
