Father's Day - I started this tradition of making a picture frame where the girls spelled out "DAD" - this is ALWAYS a challenge… but always worth it! This year was just the same as every other year… I have to start planning out the outfits in May so that I can make them and take pictures of them by Father's Day. However, this year, I decided to use a little outside help and I had a company here in Arizona make these fun sparkly Hawkeyes tshirts and of course, I had to add a necklace. I don't know if I'm going to be able to top these year after year… but it's been fun for right now. Maree cooperated amazingly well this time. I took her hair out of a pony tail, put the outfit on, and within 5-6 pictures I was DONE! Ellie on the other hand… we had several outtakes. The combined picture… let's just say I probably need a 3rd child to fill that spot… it has yet to ever work well. Here are some below.
Marc, we sure are thankful for you! Every day when you walk in the door from work and the girls come running, or these days, hiding and waiting for you to find them, it brightens up all of our days. You have to be the most positive, fun loving person I've ever met… and how awesome is that to say about your husband! The girls still associate all things fun with you - and right now, we are in full fledge swimming mode. I don't know how you do it literally almost every day. You work all day, and then can't wait to chase them around in the pool… maybe this is why they are such good swimmers?! I sure enjoy the break though :) We love you so much - thank you for all you do!!
