Every year, The Scottsdale School, (where the girls attend PreSchool) holds a Christmas concert. Starting in October we usually start hearing random lines from Christmas songs..so it is pretty fun when they get to show us the final product at their concert. Maree still calls this her "magic show"… I think it's because years ago when she couldn't hear well, we told her she had a music show… and ever since then she has called it her magic show.
To our surprise this year, both girls had "Solo" performances!! Usually parents are told their kid has a special performance, but it was pretty fun to find out as a surprise too. Ellie was a little more shell shocked .. but still managed to raise her hand in praise as she sang! Maree LOVED the attention and was even more excited when she could hear her voice over everyone else's. Their Christmas dresses from Nana were also a huge hit.
